How to Order a Fireplace Mantel

At Cascadia Hearth & Stone, we offer a wide selection of high-quality fireplace mantels that add elegance and sophistication to any living space. Whether you prefer a classic design or a modern style, we have the perfect mantel for you.

Customized designs, vintage reproductions, and one-off productions are our specialty. Let us help you make your design come to life!

Step 1: Select mantel design or get it customized

You are able to select from the following choices to get your project started:

  1. Choose from one of our designs

  2. Choose from one of our designs, but customized it to your liking

  3. Use your own design or create a design from your inspirations

We have a huge variety of traditional and modern fireplace designs to choose from, and each piece can be customized to your liking. Want to change the carvings or patterns on the mantel? Not a problem - you can go with the current mantel design or change it up as much as you’d like!

For customized designs, gather up all the relevant photos, ideabooks, or sketches for your mantel, and it can be used to generate a shop drawing from our designers. This shop drawing must be approved by the customer before production.

Step 2: Choose the stone

Cascadia sources the finest natural stones from around the world for your mantel. Our vertical integrated operations allows us to work directly with quarries to obtain the best quality Marble, Limestone, and Granite.

Let us know about the type of stone you would like your mantel to be made out of - if you do not know the stone name, you may provide us with a photo so our team will be able to source it.

Our team will help you assess if the stone is right for your fireplace mantel - some natural stones are not suited for high-temperature use and may be prone to chipping. For example, we avoid using Sandstone due to its brittleness, and Quartz for its low heat-resistance.

Step 3: Size it right

It is recommended that you have your fireplace insert (wood, gas, ethanol, or electric) already selected or installed, as our designers will need this information for sizing

There are two options for sizing your mantel

  1. Choose from our standard sized mantels (66” W and 72” W)

  2. Customized sizing

Our standard sized mantels come in two sizes

  1. 66” total width, 51” to 54” heights - fits most fireplace inserts from 20” width to 35” width

  2. 72” total width, 51” to 57” heights - fits most fireplace inserts from 35” width to 45” width
